A: "H-hey, I'm the one that finally convinced him to apply to Castalia U."

L: "I was pushing him just as hard, mind you. The only reason I even applied to that school was because of you."

A: "What?!"

L: "I wanted to be a Ranger. You don't go to Castalia to become a Ranger. But Joey wanted to go into medicine, and Castalia's one of the better pre-med schools in the world. If it were up to me, he'd be going to Lumiose Academic University. That's the best pre-med school. But no, if he were to go anywhere, because he was in one of his 'I can't do anything' moods, he would only go to where you went. So I applied there in the hopes of pulling him along with me!"

A: "You really like him, don't you?"

L: "My going also had the added benefit of possibly running into you one day, Mr. A.J. Downs, so I could beat your face in if we ever met!!"

A: "And you really hate me."

L: "Don't think I haven't prepared for this!"

A: "Premeditated murder will get you a lot of jail time, miss."

L: "I only intend to teach you a lesson."

A: "Even with a Pokemon, Assault and Battery are still egregious offenses that won't look good on your transcript."
